The Southern House of Pancakes has been family owned and operated for over 40 years.

Jimmy and Brenda Arakas built this restaurant in 1980 and named it The Breakfast Pantry. It remained in the family until it was sold in the early 1990’s. It was then renamed The Southern House of Pancakes. The restaurant returned to the family in October 2014 and is currently being operated by Jimmy and Brenda’s daughter Stacy and her Husband Gary.

In the spirit of her parents, Brenda and Jimmy, they wanted to have a warm and welcoming environment, so they adopted the symbol of southern hospitality, the pineapple. The pineapple is a symbol for “Welcome.”

We would like to welcome all of our guests for breakfast and lunch!

Thank you so much for visiting and we hope to see you again!
